Life throws us curveballs...

Welcome!

How do you even start these things? I'm completely new to blog writing. Can you tell?

For starters, like so many others, I recently lost my job and am in the process of looking for new ways of bringing income to my home. Do I want to go back to the office? Do I want to take public transportation again? My reflex answer to these questions is a big, firm NO! I don't.

At this point in my life, do I want to start a new career? To be honest, I'm kind of tired of my old one? So where do I go from here? After looking through endless hours of side hustle jobs on YouTube, FlexJobs, Indeed, Linkedin, etc. I tried transcription, among other things, only to figure out that it doesn't really pay well. So here I am. Trying yet one more new thing. Something's gotta give! No???

Here are some things that have helped me along my way to keep track of dreams and memories. I particularly like my One Line a Day: Five-Year Memory Book. I'm on my fifth year already! And though I can't say I've been diligent about writing in it daily for five years, I do enjoy reading the memories from years before while writing in it for today. And to write in it, I like to use my Purple Bullet Space Pen. Talk about smooth writing!! That was just one of those little things you gift yourself with. Something small but nice. I've had both these items for five years now and I can tell you that I haven't had to change the ink in my bullet pen yet. So, not only does it write smoothly, it lasts a long, long time. Through the years, I've kept track of my dreams too. I have so many dreams that are very memorable yet there are times I forget. This happens to all of us. On a friend's advice, I decided to write my dreams down. This way I can later tell if they were a message or something. I must say, that after years of doing this, I haven't really been able to tell if they were messages but when I read through my past dreams, I am still able to recall, pretty vividly, many of those dreams. I like adding in the details in my Dream Journal.

I hope you are able to find something within my writing and sharing to help you along your own path, in whichever way or whatever manner you need.
